The prime minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke, after his arrival in Kismayo, the headquarters of Jubaland state of Somalia, met with the newly elected members of the lower house parliaments.
The prime minister said that, he discussed the members of the lower house about who they are supposed to vote for during the presidential elections. That Somalia needs a leader who can understand what the civilians need and finds a way to solve or cover the issue.
He also discussed with them, that Somalia needs change and proper leadership.
Leadership that does not take sides. Leadership that fulfills the need of the civilians before their interests.
“The country needs someone that have the feeling to understand the rights of Somali people. Who can bring back the lost confidence in the public” Omar adds
The Somali presidential election is expected to kick off soon in the country, as all candidates are busy with their campaign.
